  4. As a committee, it was recommended that the exploration of large corporate sponsors be evaluated.
  5. Dan Barth, PPOF, has reviewed the ‘08’ schedule and offered Jerry potential dates. Jerry will bring this up for vote when a quorum is established.

Advisory Committee Report:

Old Business:

  1. Inter-organizational Cooperation
    • It was brought up in March that St Cloud OUT may not be aligned with the current mission.
    • The Advisory Committee will review the Mission Statement and offer suggestions concerning re-stating the mission statement or altering the purpose of St Cloud OUT.
      • Suggestions for fostering support with other agencies include: sending OUT members to these meetings, exploring other groups to learn of their best practices and examining their challenges.
    • It was discussed that whatever decision St Cloud OUT makes about the future, the web site is a valuable tool within the community and that the resource directory should be explored further.

New Business:

  1. Duluth Pride: Jerry will determine the costs for OUT to attend this festival instead of the MPLS Pride. After this information is learned, OUT will present a call for volunteers in response to the needs.
  2. May will be the Business Meeting.
    • Treasurer and Facilitator positions are up for renewal. Nominations will be at the May meeting.
    • Please review monetary policy and by-laws prior to this meeting.
  3. Jerry has been researching ‘shared’ calendar possibilities that will allow other GLBTA groups to update their calendars without needing Jerry to manually enter each request. This will save developer time and allow groups greater flexibility with scheduling their events.
  4. GAB Dance is the 21 st. Karaoke will be available again.

  1. Nothing reported.
