Treasurer's Report:

1. Brandi couldn’t make it tonight. We assume the finances are the same as last month.

Funding/Grants/Fundraising Committee Report:

1. Nothing to report

Film Fest Committee Report:

1. Seven months away so start looking for movies
2. Rachel will research how to get in touch with amateur film makers – those without distributors yet.
3. Please start thinking about advertisers.

Duluth Superior Pride Committee Report:

1. DS Pride is Saturday August 30

2. The booth staffing will be as follows:

   10-12 Thomas
   12-2 Brandi and Gabi
   2-4 Dan A
   4-6 Dan, Danny and Bob
   6- take down Dan and Steve

3. Thomas will bring it all back to St. Cloud.
4. Anybody interested in car pooling? Contact the webmaster.

Resource Committee Report:

1. Jerry printed up tri-fold brochure resource guides for the film festival – officially title “St. Cloud, MN GLBTA Community Resource Guide”. Looks great.

Advisory Committee Report:

1. Met to discuss the possibility of getting 501c3 (nonprofit) status.
2. In order to become an official nonprofit we would need to do a complete restructuring. There would be definite accounting issues. It costs $500 to apply. We would need to have a board whose members are separate from the general group.
3. The general consensus was that we do not have enough members at this time to have a general group and a board.
4. Gary moved to not pursue nonprofit status until other opportunities become available. Shawn seconded it. Approved by all.
5. Gabi and Brandi will check with Outfront about using them again as our fiscal host for charitable contributions.

1. The GAB birthday bash is 8/23 at the Knights of Columbus Park in Waite Park. A dance at the Red Carpet will follow.
