Outreach:

New Support Groups in town:

PFLAG is restarting -- Denny and David

• Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays will meet every Monday at 7 pm at the St. Cloud Library

GSA at Tech -- Denny and David

• A Gay Straight Alliance will be starting at Tech High School in the fall
• They will meet consistently every week -- day and time TBD

Element Mental Health -- Troy and Bill

• LGBT mental health organization through Village family mental health
• will have chemical dependency counseling

OUTside the Lines -- Troy and Bill

• a support group for 13-17 year olds to foster a positive sense of self and reduce isolation
• will start in August

Kinpride -- the TV show about the GLBTA community. They are interested in featuring LGBT organizations in the area. They would like proposals from groups who are interested. Rachel will email folks asking which groups are interested in either joing OUT on the show or being on the show on their own.

Film Fest Committee Report:

1. No April dates available for Pioneer Place. We need either an alternate month or an alternate venue. We discussed both options and decided to contact Pioneer Place about other available dates.
2. Screeners are here already. Brandi will check to see if we can screen them in the library. We would like to form a Movie Review committee who commits to being at all of the screenings. Rachel will make up a film evaluation form and send out an email inviting people to join. You must be over 18 to join.

GLBTA Summer Jubilee:

Get to know your local community

• August 15 3-6 pm potluck
• At a park to be determined. First choice Wilson Park, second choice Lake George. Sarah will call and check
• Advertising on the OUT list, Facebook (Sarah), Craig’s List (Gabi)
• We will provide charcoal, pop, ice, lighter fluid, plates, cups, music, silverware. Thomas will pick them up.
• Please bring your own grilling items, other beverages.
• Alcohol Free

Duluth Superior Pride Committee Report:

1. Labor Day weekend. Please volunteer to staff the booth.
2. We discussed the need to hand out something at the booth. Thomas moved and Jerry seconded to order 1000 bracelets with stcloudout.org on them for $265. Approved by all.
3. Sarah will register us for the DS Pride
