Film Fest Committee Report:

Movies --Rachel
• many film makers and production companies have been contacted, but it has been difficult to get screeners
• found two megasites for independent film makers
• also received a list from the Fusion film fest in LA
Movies screened (so far)
• Between Love and Goodbye
• full length movies showing in major LGBT film festivals
• so bad it was good; had good music
• Ready OK
• yes maybe
• Vier Minuten and Drifting Flowers
• They both need to be viewed by more people
• Feb 21st-- check emails for time
Advertising -- Isolde
• students have divided up the list and added more
• asking for ads or things for actual items for baskets
• pushing to include some sort of discount coupon in the ads
• cut off is March 1st
Marketing -- Andy
• Regent broadcasting --looking for free advertising
• Need to contact SC Times about getting the Up Next cover as soon as we know the movies
• we should have a Facebook page
• The marketing materials page of the wiki is having problems showing the logo.
• Jerry will upload the old program
Entertainment --No report
ASL interpreters
• Motion by Marly: If we have English language films without subtitles or if there is a panel we should have interpreters.Second by Thomas. Passes with a vote of 13 to 1
